This past summer, I was fortunate enough to intern with Morris & Terry, a start-up, organic, sustainable clothing line for children based in Sacramento, California. All of their clothes are designed and manufactured in the United States with organic or environmentally conscious materials. Any unused fabrics are made into accessories. Terry Buccat and Marisa Minasian, the founders and designers of Morris & Terry, see children as agents of change and believe that the greatest impact begins with them. Morris & Terry believe that giving back to the community is the core of their mission and they are committed to creating an alliance with foster youth. They are dedicated to benefit children from multiple walks of life.
"Our looks and stories are meant to encourage children to discover the world around them, and to realize that they are capable of making positive changes on the planet and their communities."
Check out Morris & Terry's Fall 2010 Collection, which is now available online at their website, www.morrisandterry.com.
